The Chiang Mai Journey is an optional programme where five groups of Year 9 students go to Chiang Mai for eight weeks.
This journey endeavours to lead the students to a deep self-understanding, self- awareness and true independence.
The same philosophy stresses our aim of educating students to a profound sense of internationalism where an understanding, acceptance and respect for different cultures, different religions and different ways of life become a hallmark of their character.
It is hoped that the Chiang Mai experience not only develops a sound personhood of each young person but that this special experience provides them with a foundation and spring board so that future years at Kardinia continue the growth of this self-assurance and understanding of the inner person.
