Thank you for choosing Kardinia International College as the school of preference for your child's education. To create an application for enrolment or to book a College Tour, read through the information below.

Admissions process

Number 1

Our main intake for our Junior School is 3-year-old Kindergarten, and Year 7 in the Senior School. In these intake years, all applicants are interviewed the year prior for a potential place in the College. Vacancies in other year levels become available when existing families leave the College. If you would like to see what Kardinia International College has to offer, we invite you to join one of our College Tours.

Number 2

To begin the enrolment of your child at Kardinia International College, please complete the online Application for Enrolment form. Please note that an individual Application for Enrolment form must be submitted for each child, and there is a non-refundable $250 Application for Enrolment administration fee. The online application takes around 30 minutes to complete and requires documentation to be scanned and attached. Please allow for this when beginning the application process.

The application will be processed and an email acknowledging receipt of your application will be sent to your nominated email address.

Number 3

If you have applied for one of our main intake years, you will be contacted by the Marketing and Admissions team to organise interviews taking place in the year prior to your child's enrolment year. To be eligible for our 3-year-old Kindergarten program, students must turn three by 30 April that year. Please note: Students cannot commence 3-year-old Kindergarten until they turn three years old.

For our main intake years (Year 7 and 3-year-old Kindergarten), applications for a given year’s enrolment process close in February of the year prior.

Please note: Applications for the intake process for both Year 7 and 3-year-old Kindergarten 2025 have now closed. Families are still welcome to apply and will be added to our waitlist for future years.

Applications for Year 7 in 2026 intake process will close on Monday 10 February 2025. Applications for the 3-year old Kindergarten 2026 intake process will close on Friday 4 April 2025. Families are still welcome to apply after these intake processes are closed and will be added to our waitlist for future years.

Number 4

You only ever have to apply to the College once, as we will manage your application and roll it over each year until we are able to offer you a place. If you have applied for a year level outside of our main intake years, your application will be placed on a waitlist. You will be contacted by the Marketing and Admissions department when a relevant vacancy arises for your child.

If you are contacted regarding a vacancy, if relevant our Admissions team will request your child’s academic reports and most recent NAPLAN results in order to discuss the potential vacancy with our Principal.

If the College Principal agrees to the potential vacancy, our Admissions team will contact you to make arrangements for an interview with a senior member of our College team.

Once interviewed, if successful, a letter of offer will be sent. To confirm the place, a non-refundable deposit must be paid to the College, which will be credited towards the student’s fee account upon commencement.

The current deposit fees are $250 for the three and four year old Kindergarten programs, and $500 for Foundation Year through to Year 12.

Please note: Waitlist priority is provided to children of current permanent staff, siblings of currently enrolled students, or students who have graduated Year 12, and children of Alumni. To receive Alumni waitlist priority either, or both parents need to have graduated Year 12 at Kardinia International College.

If you have any questions regarding your application, please do not hesitate to contact the College’s Marketing and Admissions Team on marketing@kardinia.vic.edu.au or phone (03) 5278 9999.
