Kardinia International College will be celebrating all things Japanese throughout Japanese Week Monday 24 – Friday 28 July. Students will get the opportunity to experience the sound of the Taiko drums, learn about Japanese style cartooning and printmaking.
Various activities will be available for all students to enjoy; authentic Japanese foods, performances and even Kardinia’s own Jan-Ken-Pon Tournament.
There will also be a range of exclusive events for those students studying Japanese (another reason to continue studying a second language)!
We have a performance of the famous folktale Momotaro on Thursday, not to mention making origami.
Japanese food will be available at the canteen through out the whole week. Don’t miss the delicious Ninja Balls available on Monday and Friday – 5 for $2 and baked by Mr Ota!
